Write in your language. Your friend reads it in theirs. Both originals stay one tap away, with romanization and translator notes when something needs them.
Put the phone between you and talk normally. uneesay works out who is speaking which language, interprets aloud, and handles interruptions without losing the thread.
Meet people who speak what you are learning and are learning what you speak. Live translation means you can hold a real conversation from day one.
Not a chatbot that natters. Lessons with can-do objectives, corrections that only flag what matters, a review deck that remembers, and a graded report at the end.
Point the camera at a menu, a sign or a contract. Layout is preserved, numbers and names are left alone.
Your conversations are never used to train anyone's model. Voice is processed in transit, not stored. Delete your account and it is gone in thirty days.
Every message is rendered into each participant's reading language — so a four-way group chat is four conversations that feel like one.
Live speech-to-speech interpretation with the latency of a real interpreter. No push-to-talk ritual, no waiting for a beep.
Find a partner who teaches what you want to learn and wants to learn what you speak. Introduce yourself, and talk with translation on until you no longer need it.
Every lesson has objectives written as things you can do. The tutor keeps the conversation pointed at them and tells you, honestly, whether you got there.
Most apps ask a model once and ship whatever comes back. That is where mistranslations come from.
The last several turns travel with every segment, so pronouns, running jokes and half-finished sentences resolve correctly.
Mis-heard words and dropped particles are reconstructed from the conversation before anything is translated, so recognition errors do not become translation errors.
An independent model reads the source and the draft and may rewrite it. Two vendors rarely share a blind spot, so dropped negations and inverted honorifics get caught.
Names, brands and jargon are pinned to fixed renderings that the model is not allowed to override.
Every account starts with a welcome balance, and a daily free allowance covers light use forever.
Enough for a trip, a group chat and a look at everything.

uneesay is a real-time interpreter for 30 languages. It translates your chat messages as you send them, interprets spoken conversation between two people sharing one phone, and coaches you through a language curriculum with an AI tutor.
Every segment is translated by a frontier model with the surrounding conversation as context, then checked by a second model from a different vendor. The reviewer can rewrite the draft when it finds a meaning, register or terminology error. Longer, ambiguous, medical, legal and emergency segments always go through that second pass.
Thirty: English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Hindi, Spanish, French, Arabic, Bengali, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, German, Korean, Indonesian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai, Polish, Dutch, Ukrainian, Persian, Malay, Tamil, Urdu, Swedish, Hebrew, Romanian, Greek and Filipino. The app interface is available in all thirty.
Share your friend code from the Friends tab, or enter theirs. You can also meet people in the Language Exchange corner, where partners are matched by the languages they speak and want to learn.
They see the translation in their own language. Either of you can tap a message to reveal the original, the romanization and any translator notes.
Put the phone between you and pick the two languages. uneesay listens, works out who is speaking which language, and speaks the interpretation aloud in the other. It handles interruptions and switches direction automatically.
Noise reduction is applied before recognition, and the interpreter reconstructs damaged speech using the conversation so far rather than guessing at isolated words. In very loud places, push-to-talk mode gives better results.
It runs a curriculum. Each lesson has can-do objectives, and the tutor keeps the conversation aimed at them, corrects only errors that matter, saves new words to your review deck, and grades the session against those objectives at the end.
uneesay is free to start, works in 30 languages, and takes about a minute to set up.
